Shikarpur: The dreadful cries of a teenage boy have been heard as Sindh Home Department has taken notice of the murder of his father, an ex-UC Nazim of Shikarpur District, and directed the Inspector General of Police for necessary action against those responsible within a week.
The audio-recorded ordeal of the boy had gone viral in the social media as he had recorded the whole episode of torture by the SHO Qamarddin Panhwar of Rustam PS and his subordinates on his father, which led to the death of ex-UC Nazim.
The brother of deceased has registered FIR against SHO Qamarddin Panhwar, police head Constable Rafique Panhwar and cops Altaf Kalhoro, Shaukat Chandio and Ghulam Ali Chandio but all they have not been arrested yet. The Home Department ,Sindh in a letter No. SO (LE-II) HD/5-1/2016 has directed the IGP and others for necessary action on the issue.
