ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Tuesday lodged a strong protest with India over unprovoked firing and shelling at the working boundary that claimed two lives of civilians.
Foreign Office summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner JP Singh and lodged strong protest over its unprovoked firing and shelling on the working boundary. DG South Asia also handed over a protest letter to the Indian Deputy High Commissioner.
It is pertinent to mention that Indian forces had resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling on working boundary martyring two civilians including a minor and injuring seven others in Sialkot.
