FAISALABAD: Price Control Magistrate Riaz Hussain Anjum has imposed fines on 10 shopkeepers for overcharging.
A spokesman of the city district government said on Thursday that the magistrate conducted surprise visits to various markets of Bawa Chak and Sargodha Road to check the quality and sale of daily use commodities.
He said that 10 shopkeepers were found involved in overcharging and profiteering due to which the price control magistrate imposed a total fine of Rs 28,000 on them.
