KARACHI: Sindh Board of Investment (SBI) Chairperson Naheed Memon on Wednesday said that the first exhibition of German Engineering and Motor Show will create additional foreign investment opportunities.
She shared her views with German-Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Secretary General Ines Chabbi in SBI’s office. Chabbi headed a delegation to meet SBI chairperson for presenting a suggestion to organise a three-day German-Pakistan Engineering and Motor Show at Karachi’s Expo Centre on January 26-28 of 2017.
Memon welcomed the suggestion of organising the show and said that in addition to the Sindh government and SBI, all the relevant departments of the province will also be taken on-board. She said that the Sindh government will give security to the German investors and delegations visiting the show which will provide more opportunities to exchange investment and technology.
The German delegation’s head said that the popular European companies of machinery and automobile will present their productions in the motor show – while Pakistani companies will also be invited.
